DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the start of the 2025 boating season and the 150th running of the Preakness Stakes with an evening of Maryland-inspired traditions! Wear a hat\, grab a Black-Eyed Susan cocktail or a Natty Boh\, draw a number and cheer on your horse as we watch the race via livestream at 6:50pm (prizes to be awarded!) \nEnjoy appetizers\, a blessing of the fleet and firing of the cannon. Dinner will feature a menu of Maryland favorites – including crab & corn salad\, Baltimore Beef Sliders\, Heirloom Chicken & veggies\, and Old Bay mac & cheese. SUMMARY:Memorial Day Weekend Cruise to Rock Hall
DESCRIPTION:Come one\, come all! We had a great time last Memorial Day weekend so it’s time to do it again. Stay at the marina or at the Mariner’s Motel (located at the marina). The marina has floating docks and the motel has been positively reviewed by members who have stayed there. Enjoy the pool\, the firepit and picnic tables\, relax in a hammock\, go for a bike ride\, walk into town for ice cream\, head to Java Rock for an awesome breakfast… There is normally a band at Waterman’s on Saturday night so come prepared for good time. \nSlip reservations should be made via Dockwa ASAP. Include “Cruising with Herring Bay Yacht Club” in the special requests section. Room reservations can be made at the Mariner’s Motel located at the marina. \nPlease register with us so we can keep you informed of all details of the cruise.
