DESCRIPTION:Join us in Chestertown!\n  \nUnfortunately\, this cruise has been canceled due to weather\n  \nHBYC is cruising to Chesterown Marina Saturday\, October 1st – Sunday\, October 2nd.  Enjoy the Chestertown Car Show as well as the shopping and great restaurants within walking distance of the marina in this beautiful town up the Chester River. \nThe marina is holding slips until August 31st so if you want to go\, be sure to make your reservations by then to avoid being shut out. To book your slip\, cruisers should go to chestertownmarina.com and use the reservation page.  Most importantly\, in the “special request” section\, note that you are with HBYC. Check back for more details as the timing of the pre-cruise briefing and on shore activities are not yet final. \nOne more thing…please click here to register with us so we can keep you informed of all details of the cruise. \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:Chili anyone?\n  \nJoin your fellow club members at the annual Chili Cook-Off.  Spend the afternoon sampling the various chilies made by our members while enjoying everyone sharing  stories of their cruising adventures.  It’s historically been a challenge for our judges to pick the Chili Cook-Off winner so expect a great selection of traditional and innovative recipes. Join in the competition by bringing a crock pot full of your favorite chili for free admission or just come for a terrific meal. HBYC beer and wine glasses as well as merchandise from a local small business\, Mast & Boom\, who make tote bags and other items from recycled sails will be available for sale.
