SUMMARY:Long Cruise
DESCRIPTION:Not to be missed. We are heading to 2 of the top 3 small towns to visit on the Chesapeake this year. We will get this party started on Saturday after a ~30nm cruise to Spring Cove Marina in Solomons with a potluck dinner party under the tent. Enjoy the pool and tiki bar before dinner on the first night of this cruise. On Sunday\, we travel ~ 30 nm to Point Lookout Marina in Point Lookout\, MD. Head to the pool to relax before dinner at the on-site restaurant. On Monday\, we travel ~45 nm to Deltaville to enjoy the town and Fishing Bay Marina for 2 days.  Fishing Bay Marina is within walking distance of town. On Wednesday\, we travel ~35 nm to Somers Cove Marina in Crisfield for another 2 days. In Crisfield you can take a ferry to either Smith Island (Cake!) or Tangiers. On Friday\, we travel ~ 40 nm to Safe Harbor Zahnisers in Solomons for our last night with dinner at the on-site Italian restaurant. \nItinerary update:  \nSaturday\, July 27th        Cruise to Spring Cove Marina\, Solomons (~30 nm) \nSunday\, July 28th           Lay Day \nMonday\, July 29th          Cruise to Somers Cover Marina\, Crisfield (~40 nm) \nTuesday – Thursday      Lay Days (Visit Smith & Tangiers Islands) \nFriday\, August 2nd         Cruise to Safe Harbor Zahniser’s\, Solomons (~40 nm) \nSaturday\, August 3rd     Cruise to home port (~30 nm) \nThe marinas are holding slips but have asked that members book ASAP. Slips cannot be guaranteed if you wait until the last minute. \nOne more thing…please sign-up with us so we can keep you informed of all details of the cruise. In addition\, let us know during sign-up if you are extending your trip so that we can facilitate planning joint activities by those who arrive earlier and/or depart later. \nFor all marinas\, reservations should be made on Dockwa.
