Celebrate the start of the 2025 boating season and the 150th running of the Preakness Stakes with an evening of Maryland-inspired traditions! Wear a hat, grab a Black-Eyed Susan cocktail or a Natty Boh, draw a number and cheer on your horse as we watch the race via livestream at 6:50pm (prizes to be awarded!)
Enjoy appetizers, a blessing of the fleet and firing of the cannon. Dinner will feature a menu of Maryland favorites – including crab & corn salad, Baltimore Beef Sliders, Heirloom Chicken & veggies, and Old Bay mac & cheese. DJ music, dancing, and prizes for our Hat Decorating contest will follow. Note: hats sporting the HBYC logo will be entered to win! Hat-Decorating Contest Rules
Wine, beer, NA beer and soft drinks will be provided.
Tickets are $40 for members and $50 for guests.
