No reservations are needed for slips\, you make slip reservations upon arrival and must pay with CASH. \nReservations for dinner at Fisherman’s Corner Restaurant. \nCharming septuagenarian Milton Parks tools around on his shiny white motor scooter tending his cats and his professionally-run marina. He’s gracious and informative – as are most islanders. Well-maintained wood-paneled full bathrooms. Beware – current can run strong at right angles to slips. Bring insect repellent\, alcoholic beverages and cash – Tangier is dry & credit-card free. \nMore information on Tangier click HERE. \nDay 2 – August 9:  Tangier – Smithfield \nCruise approximately 65 miles to Smithfield\, VA. We will be staying at Smithfield Station Marina. Slips are $2.50 per foot; $30 amp power – $7.50 per day\, 2 x 30 amp power – $15.00 per day\, 50 amp power – $ 15.00 per day and 2x 50 amp power – $30.00 per day. We will enter the Intracoastal Waterway at MM0 in Norfolk\, traveling on rivers and bays and transiting the Great Bridge Lock on our trip to Coinjock Marina. Slips at $1.75 per foot; 30 Amp $7 per night\, 50 Amp $10 per night\, 100 Amp\, single phase $25 per night\, 100 Amp\, three phase $40 per night. Slip reservations are to be made by phone 252 426 4037 and be sure to mention HBYC. \nDay 5 & 6 – August 12-13:   Plantation – Norfolk \nTravel approximately 65 miles to Norfolk VA via the Dismal Swamp. We will be staying at the Norfolk Waterside Marina for 2 nights.. Slips at $2.00 per foot; 30 Amp $7.50\, Twin 30 Amp $15\, 50 Amp $15\, Twin 50 Amp $30 Slip reservations are to be made by phone 757-625-3625 or via Dockwa and be sure to mention HBYC. \nThe Dismal Swamp route looks like the amazon and is a beautiful relaxing trip. It includes the 22nm Dismal Swamp Canal. \nCheck out the Waterside District for restaurants. \nDay 7 – August 14:   Norfolk – Onancock \nTravel approximately 65 miles to Onancock\, VA (Eastern Shore) . We will be staying at the Onancock Wharf Marina. The marina has 12 floating dock slips that are 16 plus ft. wide\, 2 bulkhead and 1 wide beam (stationary) slip. Water is generally 5-7 feet deep at the floating docks. The bulkhead accommodates boats up to 84 feet with water generally 7.5 feet deep. Slips at $2.00 per foot; $7.50 for 30 Amp\, $15 for 50 Amp.
