Gather under the tent on the West Beach at HHS for a Signature Cocktail and dancing to live music by Good Talk Russ band. If you want to go to the Farmers Market on Saturday\, you may want to arrive there on Friday so you don’t miss it. There are also plenty of places for breakfast\, lunch and dinner as well as shopping and a few entertainment spots. \nMake your reservation for Saturday (10/10/2026) and Sunday (10/11/2026) nights at Reservations | Chestertown MD. When making them\, be sure to mention that you are “Cruising with Herring Bay Yacht Club”. \nOnce you’ve secured your reservation\, please complete the sign-up sheet below so that we know you’ll be joining us. When doing so\, be sure to let us know if you are extending your trip so that we can facilitate planning joint activities for those who arrive early or depart late. \nSign-up for the cruise to Chestertown \nOne more thing… please take a moment to review our Cruise Host Guidelines and consider stepping up to host. DESCRIPTION:Come by boat\, come by car! \nThe Urbanna Oyster Festival takes place the first weekend in November and promises to be a good time.  We are still working on reservation possibilities.  Given the weather\, this may be a land event rather than a cruise.  Possible locations are Urbanna Town Marina or a hotel in Tappahannock\, VA. DESCRIPTION:Join fellow Club members to wrap up the boating season with our annual Turkey Fry at the Clubhouse! Turkeys will be provided by the Club and appetizers\, traditional Thanksgiving sides and desserts are provided potluck-style by members. To celebrate the season of giving\, we will take up a collection via a contribution link to be shared in advance of the event; 100% of these donations will go directly to food bank(s) serving the local community.
