SUMMARY:Shaw Bay Raft Up
DESCRIPTION:HBYC is once again heading to Shaw Bay for the annual concert organized by Shore Rivers to raise funds and awareness for clean water efforts on Maryland’s eastern shore.   The concert is from 3 PM – 6 PM.  The anchorage will be crowded so head over early so you have room to raft up with the group. Grab your friends\, bathing suits\, rafts\, libations and lunch and come relax for the day. The anchorage is also a great place to stay overnight because it is well protected. Those who attended last year had a great time. \nClick here for more information on the concert. DESCRIPTION:We’re having a ball! This is sure to be a good time. We will be at the Naval Academy. Because of site requirements\, we have hired a 38 passenger bus to transport us between the Westin (next door to a public parking lot) and the Naval Academy as well as an approved DJ who received great reviews for his work at the CBYCA Ball last year. \nThe evening will begin with an Antipasto platter and passed hors d’oeuvres during the cocktail hour. For dinner\, you will have your choice of: \n\nRoasted Beef Tenderloin with a port reduction sauce\nRoasted Alaskan Halibut with mango salsa and toasted coconut\nPortobello Vegetarian Stack with wilted spinach\, fire roasted tomato basil sauce\n\nAll dinners include salad\, vegetable\, potato and a gluten-friendly Trilogy Chocolate Cake. Drinks are also included. \nIf you are interested in spending the night in Annapolis\, a block of 20 rooms has been reserved at the Westin. The rate is $149 for Saturday night. DESCRIPTION:Back by popular demand… it’s the Rockhold Creek Dingy Safari and Poker Run! Join fellow HBYC members for an expedition as we dingy-pool\, carpool\, paddle\, or bike to each of 5 waterfront establishments (Dockside\, Skipper’s Pier\, Wharf 38\, Happy Harbor\, and The Boat House) along Rockhold Creek in Deale.   \n\n\n\n\nStarting at noon\, visit the first 4 in any order\, but end at The Boat House by 3pm.  Upon arrival at each location\, go to the outside bar (hostess station at Wharf 38) and ask for the HBYC sealed envelope (NO PEEKING) containing one Poker card at each location. Participants receive one card (envelope) per person at each location\, then hang out for a bit\, enjoy food/drinks (on own dime).  \nAll participants convene at The Boat House by 3:00 pm (look for the HBYC Banner located near the pool) where they pay $5 for the 5th card.  The Dealer will open the envelopes and record the hands. The Winner gets 50% of the pot and the Club gets other 50%.  Then sit back\, relax and enjoy music by First Friday band (look for our own Steve Fass behind the drum kit!) \nPlease sign up no later than June 2 \n\n\n\n\nSign Up for the Poker Run
