Opening Day
Opening Day happens to coincide with National BBQ Day, so we will celebrate appropriately with a Polynesian-themed BBQ! Get your Hawaiian shirts ready to dance in the East Beach Pavillion to live music by local singer/guitarist Kurt Gibbons while enjoying Pina Coladas. Dinner will be catered by Bayside Bull, with an island-inspired menu to include maple-glazed sausage/pineapple bites, jerk pork loin with pineapple salsa, bacon-wrapped shrimp skewers, citrus marinated chicken breasts, tomato cucumber salad, sweet potato hash, tropical fruit salad, coconut rice, fresh-baked slider rolls, cornbread, and key lime pie. Beverages provided. As a bonus to kick off the season, we’ll have a raffle drawing for some nice tote bags and other donated goodies (proceeds to the Club).
